Sooo... it's been rather quiet around these parts lately. I'm still drawing stuff though! It's a bit more sporadic and a bit more specialized, but stuff is being made by my hands. Hopefully, I'll be able to get into the groove of more regularly making comics and other goofy things, but until then, here are some things I've drawn lately!
First off, here's a flyer I made for my homie Alexander Ortega's band, Filth Lords!
We had a pool party (where no one went swimming) at our new apartment to show our friends our fancy new digs. I made an invitation :D
I also drew this flyer for the SLUG staff pot luck, which I think turned out really rad.
THEN I drew this birthday card for Alex, which incorporates several of his favorite things, including wolves, guitars, the Utah Jazz, and tornadoes.
In the October issue of SLUG, there's a comic I drew about my most racially insensitive Halloween comic as a kid. I made a comic or two referencing this in the past, but this one's brand new and in color! Pick up a copy of the October issue of SLUG to see it in its physical glory.
FINALLY. I created a couple of designs for new koozies for SLUG. They didn't like this first one so much...
But THIS one...
Is currently being printed onto koozies by the super rad Copper Palate Press!
Aaaand that's all for now. Hopefully I'll be back in a few weeks with a lot of cool new stuff to show you :D

A Friendly Exchange
Hey dudes, here's a comic I made for a zine entitled "You Had to Be Here" which was put together for the Alt Press Fest 2012. I'm not sure if any copies are still available, but the SLC Main Library should have a few copies that you can check out. There's lots of cool stuff in there from this year's APF 2012 participants! Anyway, here you go.

May? June? I dunno. Here are some things.
Hey dudes, I've been super busy getting stuff ready for the Alt Press Fest (happening July 7 at the SLC Main Library! Come visit me!), so I haven't made a lot of new stuff lately. Here are some leftover things from May.
These next ones are from this rad event that Cool Jon and I have been going to called Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School. Basically, it's figure drawing in a bar with a monthly theme. In May, it was demon-themed. Here's one that Jon and I collaborated on.
And here's a weird one with prominently displayed nipples.
As for the Alt Press Fest, I'm gonna have two new zines (one that is strictly drawings that no one else has ever seen--neat!) and a few copies of my ewok zine Yub Nub for sale. I'll also be selling some zines from my homie Sam and hopefully a few other friends as well. It's gonna be awesome. I'm pretty excited. Please come.

April Week 4: Wrestlers and Stuff
I've been busy getting ready for the Alt Press Fest (happening the first weekend of July at the Salt Lake Main Library!), so updates will probably be a bit sporadic for the next little bit. I did have time to draw a bunch of wrestlers, and I promise there will be more to come. It's been at least 10 years since I really followed wrestling, but these dudes are so goddamn much fun to draw! I asked people on Facebook who their favorite wrestlers of all time are, and I drew a bunch of people's requests. If I didn't get to your favorite this week, hopefully I'll post it next week!
My sister Jaimie requested Mankind, and wouldn't you know it, I had just finished drawing Mankind when I posted about it on Facebook. He's one of my favorite wrestlers of all time too, especially during the days of Mr. Socko. I highly recommend watching him visit Vince McMahon in the hospital on YouTube and watching some of his tag team matches with The Rock, because that shit is hilarious.
No one requested him, but I drew Vader. He was on a few episodes of Boy Meets World. That was weird.
My co-worker Gavin suggested Jake The Snake, who, weirdly enough, also appeared on Boy Meets World. I also saw Jake the Snake wrestle at the State Fair with my dad and Jaimie in 1998 or 1999. It was depressing.
My friend Jerome suggested Rey Misterio, Jr. Since he included the "Jr." part of his name (which he stopped using when he went to the WWF), I decided to draw Rey in his pre-steroid days as he appeared in WCW. He's also one of my nephew's favorite wrestlers--we went to the Auto Show as a family one time so we could get Rey's autograph for him.
Drew suggested Bam Bam Bigelow, which I was more than happy to draw because Bam Bam was awesome. Dude was gigantic and could still do moonsaults and stuff. Also, he got severly burned saving some kids from a fire one time. He's dead now.
Alex suggested Sting, which is awesome because I've been meaning to draw Sting forever. He's another one of my childhood favorites--my sister actually dressed up as the nWo Wolfpac version of Sting for Halloween once. Here he is in his early '90s garb.
James suggested George "The Animal" Steele. I don't think I ever actually saw him wrestle, but he does appear in one of my favorite movies of all time: Ed Wood. Also, I'm always happy to draw weird, fat, hairy dudes.
And finally, Dylan suggested the WCW version of Scott Hall, but I totally forgot about that until I started coloring him in, so here he is as Razor Ramon. Another one of my childhood favorites, and I still think he has one of the coolest finishing moves ever.

April 2012: Week 2?
Hey, here are some new comics and other things!
I probably should've made it more clear that this next comic takes place at night while I'm trying to sleep, because as it stands it kinda makes me look like a neglectful monster.
As requested by Jeremy Wilkins, here are some punk rock midget wrestlers.
As requested by Alex Ortega, here's Sweetums the Muppet. The whole right side of his face turned out kinda weird.
And finally, here's a comic I made about Raunch Records for the April 2012 issue of SLUG.

March 2012: More comics and stuff
Hey! Here are some new things! First up, here are three comics. Two of them kinda have the same joke, and the other one kinda has the same joke as a comic I made a long time ago.
Now, here's a drawing about a thing that happened yesterday.
And here's a poster I made for SLUG's April Localized concert.
And finally, here's some Adventure Time fan art, starring myself and my dog, Lola.
