The Time I Interviewed The Queers (And Another Time I Almost Interviewed Them)

I made a comic for the new issue of SLUG about the time I interviewed The Queers. You can check that out here. One of the SLUG designers colored it and everything! However, I did have to cut a page from the comic and slightly alter the first page. I think that the most boring stuff was cut, but some pretty good stuff was also sacrificed. Check out the original version below and see for yourself.

YUB NUB

This past August, I took a class from the University of Utah's Book Arts Program about zine making. It was pretty cool to learn about a few different simple templates for making zines and to be able to use their awesome letterpresses, even though I was scared that I might lose an arm/leg/eyeball while operating them. I decided to make a zine about ewoks, for ewoks. It is titled "Yub Nub," and is based on the ewok victory song that used to be at the end of Return of the Jedi before George Lucas decided to take it out because he hates fun. Also, I drew it using a screwdriver. Here it is for your reading pleasure.
